Default Pioneer radio ate my cd......

Pioneer cd player in my 2005 xB ate my cd and now won't eject it...it sounds like it wants to come out but nothing it just replays the cd??

Any suggestions??????

Yeah I'm sorry, but the Scion Pioneer's suck. It ate my CDs too and those Error messages have been showing up for like 3 years. That head unit is a piece of crap, seriously. Major flaws. And then Toyota wants to charge $500 regardless to fix it. What a joke!

I've been getting ERROR 4 flashing on my deck? Has anybody else with the 6 disc changer had that error message? If so, what did you do to fix it? And my car is out of warranty!

Strait from the 05 6-Disc Stereo Manual:


You were right when you said the scion pioneer stereos are terrible, the 6-disc changer being the worst which is why they discontinued it. The Error 4 problem is very common and all the dealer does is give you another HU that will have the same problem, you might want to shop around for an aftermarket HU.
