Default Pioneer TS-SW124D SUPER THIN

So im looking at this sub for my soon to come SPFR enclosure. mounting depth and cubic air space is also at a minimum. So i figured this sub would be awesom with a 4" mounting depth and the pioneer theme continues. Has anyone used this sub before or has any comments?
Here is a site for more info

That's cool. Looks like it would be perfect for an under-the-seat box.

I have one of those subs. Got it for Christmas. I'm running it off a sony xploid 600W amp but only at about half power. It is in a box in the back onf my xB and it sound great and plays deep. On a factory speakers and factory headunit. My settings are Trebal +5 bass -5 balance 0 and front - 4 and it plays really good. Depending on what i play i will also change the set up to Trebal +5 bass -5 balance 0 and front 0.

Thanks for the info its helping me make my decision, ive always been weary of pioneer subs. I just think there are better alternatives, ie kicker, jl,alpine. But the info you all provide is helping me. Plus i have never heard them before.

local stereo shop has them as well. I went in asking about a single 10, and he recommended those or Memphis MClass.

well they require 0.8cu.ft...wonder if you can get three of these and make a fiberglass box to fit the tC's spare tire and stealth them? I think that would be ideal for this sub and the tC!

just my 2 cents,

agreed i think a stealth approach is always best in a stereo set up. In a car you drive daily that is

I'm going for the stealth install in my xB as well... and it will be a "show car". I'll drive it (maybe not daily), but a stealth-able install could prove good for shows as well.
