155db would hurt but that is always something to shoot for, i am thinking of selling my amp as well and going ahead and getting an alternator as well. i think i am going to try the re xxx next maybe three 12's or just two not sure yet, oh and a second battery. im tired of not being loud enough and dimming so im going to try to take them out in one shot.

Rabbit screams...WALL,WALL,WALL,WALL,WALL,WALL.
I'm going with the wall but I don't know if I want to go ported or sealed.
Right now I'm running sealed in a very small box and I like the notes it produces.

How low(hz) can you go with a sealed enclosure.
I know with the hz sweep it gets pretty low.

you can go pretty low with a sealed but a sealed requires a bit more power, depending how many subs your going to go with and what #'s your looking to hit thats when you will determine if your going to go ported or sealed. you also need to look at how much air space your are going to need for the amount of subs you are going to run and what is required for each sub. if i were going to do a wall(which i have already measured for but am unsure if i want to do it yet) i would do 4 12's ported or 6 12's sealed, but thats just me.

If you get a pro to make you a great box you should go ported.....I hear a good ported box can be as accurate and get louder!
Remember every 3db gain you get doubles how loud it sounds.....

What's with the bazooka? Did you get a good deal?
Your seats look good.....
My whole thing was to get the most bass that I could out of any set up and still have my rear view visibility!

Here is the signature!!!!!

Here is the magnet next to a size 11 foot!

Here is just a taste of all things man should fear!

Just kidding but this is the box and subs that I ordered. It barley fits in my xB as is so I am going to have to take out the spare tire so I can find some room to mount my amps!

How are the classed determined in SLAP or any other competition? I understand it is by watts, but, say if I had a 4x100 amp, and a 600x1 mono amp for the subs, would I be in the 1000+ watts class? How are these guys running a 50x2 on 3 subs? I know back in the old days, the cheater amps, but dang! I am trying to desing a system, but I sure done want to compete with the 1000watt class!

SLAP does not go by watts they go by cone area and how they are placed in the car. you can go to http://www.slapshow.com/rules/index.htm to check out the rules along with shows and national results from 2004 and 2003.

Alright people......I think it's been close to a year since I posted this thread and I'm finally coming to an end with getting my system installed.
The person installing my stereo did the demo vehicle for FOCAL and a couple of other brands.

He told me he could get me reaching the mid 150's on the new termlab with my pair of twelves......

I'm getting everything back this weekend and I'll try to get it metered ASAP!

I got it back, it sounds great.
This girl I am dating is supposed to let me borrow her parents digital camera/video recorder today. Hopefully I can get something up and posted soon.
I tried talking to the only people with a TermLab in town and they still want to charge me $45 to meter my stereo.
I'm not doing that......
Next time I go to Dallas I'll find a shop that can hook me up.
