Notice the loudest xb is the Pioneer xb which has reached 175.5 with
two Pioneer spl 5000 subs and 8 of the new Pioneer amps two to each voice coil.

Mojo's are nice...... Remember the LVS? They are kinda rare but look into them.... they are freakin stout.
Have you already committed? What kind of car do you drive?

i made a box last week and put together the whole system in my buddys 04 cavi for a total of $500 picking and choosing the best we could get for the cash we had

we got one 10" sound stream t4
and we got a hifoincs brutus 1100watt amp
and a cheap pioneer headunit an old ___ premier we got this used

but all that came out to 400 witch is great but then we went and got 20 feet of zero gauge and some rca cables and a fuse and holder for only 30 witch in my book is an amazing price.

last we hooked every thing up and spent some cash on some wood and fiber glass and some pvc to make a prot and ended up with the loudest box i have made yet lol

this single ten hits 144.4 off the dash board slap show style mic setup

it is great for 1 10" the last show this car went to was a a slap show for the huricain 2 days ago and it hit harder then any thing that would have been in its class in cluding 2 10" w7's and a guy with a solo x couldtn even hit that hight he hit 143.2 lol i love this setup

the rules alow us to put one more sub in there so were getting another one later this fall and doing a power acoustik 3000 watt amp to power them both and we wont even change classes lol i cant wait im hopeing for atleast a 150 out of these but i think that is hopeing for to mutch from 2 of these little subs but only time will tell

sorry for the run on sentence and the usless info but i just figured i would share this lol

Oh man, I would love to go high spl with an xB... but as much as I want to I got to remember this is my family ride.... boy if I had some sacks, I would say f it and buy another xB and just get stupid with a system. I will never forget this one dudes chevy astro back in 1994 IASCA finals... I've heard some big time systems before but this one was the best sounding spl set up's I've heard ( this was 11 years ago but still ) ...He was a USAC guy but still showed up to show off his ride...those where the days of a ton of subs ( the w7 wasn't around then! ) so he was running 18 12's. There was always someone that would try and run as many subs as possible seeing 25 12's or 45 10's or something crazy but of course there is much much more to it than how many subs you run... my ears hurt just thinking about it. I can still remember when you tried to speak in the astro your voice would cut out as if you were talking into a fan. Your hair would literatly blow hard in the "wind" as the system would hit. You could be standing 3 feet from the open doors and your pant legs would be flapping from the system... I was holding a plasic bag and is was like I was in a hurricane...all caught on video... it makes me crack up watching it to this day... I haven't dug it out in a while...maybe now the time to do so agian... have fun with the systems!

That would be awesome.....
What happened to the 8's?
I think I am happy with my set up for now at least.
I know I need to get it metered but I'm in Afghanistan now. When I get back I'll keep trying to find a shop that will hook me up! (I'm not paying $45 to get it metered)

When I upgrade I think I might just put a wall in and get 8 JLW3v2 D4 12's and port them using my Eclipse Amp to give them 250watts RMS a piece......
That should do me good...haha
I'm seriously thinking about it...

you have to go to an audio shop that has a termlab or audio control mic to measure your db. you can buy db meters but for like 100 bucks at radio shck but arent worth it if your pushing over 120 db.
