Polk DB6500 Component system?
See where crutchfield and circuit city are running a special (Buy one, get second set at 50% off) -- Thought I would make this the next step in the audio upgrade after buying the Pioneer DEHP4800 2 weeks ago. Anyone running this on your xB?
How do they sound for ya?

Circuit City had that deal 3 weeks ago with Kicker products
I bought 2 sets of Kicker KS6.2 Components and they sound great with my Eclipse CD3000 Head Unit and Infinity Basslink.
Circuit City's Install was real shady and I will never get anything installed there again.
They used Wire Nuts to splice speaker wires. I was thinking they would solder and make everything clean with the install.

Circuit City is suppossed to solder and tape all connections for wiring. I know because i work at one and have run the install shop before. There is a problem if they are using wire nuts, you should take it back and make some one aware of this issue (even if you dont allow them to work on the car, atleast let Mgmt know). That is a big no no, not using solder and tape, plus wire nuts, s*ck. You sure they weren't crimp caps?
Sorry to get off topic, but that disturbes me, i bust my butt doing the best work posssible I can and give CC a good name. Just to have some smu**k, mess it up with wire nuts.
Polk is a very good brand, one of the top three sold at CC. The speakers will give you a nice midbass, sound and some highs. Other's will give you a better highs, and little or no mid bass. But a good choice if you desire, a little less highs and some good mids.

Alright -- ED it will be....I think maybe 6000s comps in the front and perhaps a sub/amp or two in the back. Who needs mids in the back compartment anyhow? Anyone used this setup with the Pioneer P4800?
