no, don't bother, you wont really gain anything by doing this.

 

and unless your port is big enough to put your head into you don't have to worry about it blowing out the port......unless you rip it to shreds before you put it in the box.....otherwise it's like a giant cotton ball

 

well...originally i was askin its uses..and no one specified on what box to use\not use it with



the only type of box i used poly fill with is sealed boxes, and it does make a difference.

if i use it its gonna be for one 15in MOJO in a slot ported box. should i?

my friend has two 12in kicker l7s in a slot ported box...should he use any?

not sure, i know its one pound for every sqft. what im really wondering is if its worth it to do period, ill worry about how much and stuff after ive found out if its worth doing at all

 

wait untill you cear the sub and box.....if you can hear any whistling or anything coming from the port.....polyfill it....

it really won't make that big of a difference.....I've always used it because for me, it's always minimized port noise......
