hi i was just wondering if I could turn my sealed sub box into a ported one just by drilling a big hole into it. does the hole need to be in a special location or does the box need to be a specific size to sound good ported? what should i do?

 

leave it sealed.....Ported boxes are more than just a box with a hole in it.....it has to be a certain size hole, and has to have a tube of a certain length going into it....and it's different for each box.....plus, ported boxes generally have to be bigger than sealed boxes......leave the sealed box sealed, it will sound better like that...
