Power Window Lock Switch
I am going to add the auto down switch to the front passenger window. I want to know if there is a way to "unhook" the front pass window from the lock so i can leave the back two locked and be able to use the front two whenever i want. I dont care if the pass side works or not but want to be able to do it from the driver seat. Does anyone have any idea where to start?
Thanks,
Chris

there is an auto rollup module that you can get if you have any decent alarm that will enable the front windows to auto up / down with a single click. it won't disable the backs, but if you simply don't press the rear window buttons, they wont budge.. or you can take the rear door pannels off, and un clip the wiring harnesses to the back window buttons to totally disable them. if you dont have a decent alarm installed, get one.. you'll be better off having a higher degree of protection, and you won't have to screw up any wiring.
be advised, if you want all 4 windows to auto roll up / down, you'll need to buy 2 modules.. one for the front, and one for the back..

FRom what i read on here, all i need is the switch to make it auto down, the auto up is not necessary, but thanks. This is my company car and I am about to put a divider behind the front two seats and wanted to lock just the back two windows so I dont accidentally put them down when i dont want them down. Thank you on the alarm tip, i need to get one.
