Default "Pyle" mobile video products question...

Is there a reason why they are so cheap? Does the price reflect the quality of product?

I've never heard of Pyle...Are they new? Can anyone reccomend them or a nice in-dash monitor to use from them?

Simply, I can't afford $1000+ video headunits and stuff..

Pyle use to be pretty good stuff, up until they got bought out by a bigger corporation. Personally I dont trust their products anymore. You get what you pay for.

Everyone knows them as PYLE of ____

If you want a really good unit for cheap, go with the Performance Teknique. I am totally happy with mine. Clear picture, easy to use, looks good (black or silver) and everythings perfectly functional even though I have had it for over a year.

it'll be better to spend a bit more for better quality..i once bought a TECVOX and PYLE brands thinking I got a good deal..boy was I wrong..anyway lesson learned...

I know it's now that best but I butcherd a 7" MobileTV for my dash and got no complaints...works like a charm...highliy recommend it...

PEACE

ive had a pyle tv thingy before....
its fine and dandy, but its really a PYLE OF ____
when u compare it to name brand stuff...

u get what u pay for... and if u compare the actual LCD quality
like side/by/side.. u'll see that the name brand screens will be
crisper, more colorful, and vivid, whereas pyle and ____ty brands will look nasty..

i've even heard that pyle and ____ty companys use refurbrished
casion machine lcd's as their product like. thats just gross(if the casino dont want them why should we)

The Pyle PLVIN70 7" in-dash LCD is a good buy if you're OK with a non-motorized screen. But by the time you add a good DVD head unit you're looking at a fair chunk of change.
