marco: there is a saying in this country that goes "...you get what you pay for..." in other words, if you pay a very cheap price for something that is usually priced very expensive, more than likely its of very poor quality.

ask a friend who has had a stereo installed in their car, or you might try someone like "autosound" about what he might be able to do for you.

good luck...!!!

I agree, you get what you pay for and PM autosound to get a good idea on what to get for the money you want to spend.

Yes, you get what you paid for. Sure it takes some $$$ to get a really good sounding system. But if you buy something cheap, then that's what its going to sound like.

If you want a really good sounding system, be prepared to pay for it.

If you're in the Bay Area, I recommend Chris (autosound) out here in Tracy. He knows Scions as he's prolly worked on at least 6 or so of the ones in Nor*Cal Scions.

i just got the same setup (2 10s, amp, and box) and all i can say is research the subs/amp theyre selling you, or have some idea of what subs you want. a lot of times guys will try to rip u off or sell you the crappiest sound system ever. i had this friend who bought these 12" hollywood subs and they blew out. learning about how amps and subs work wont hurt either.

as for asking wut system u should get...what's your budget?

I think you could get a good setup with maybe a 800w Kenwood 2 channel amp and two 12' Infinity Kappa subs for about $300.

you can get a low end in your car without spending 600 dollars, everyone knows that. i'd suggest looking around, because 1 quality sub with some good power will slap the ____ out of many 2 subwoofer systems. i'm running 1 idmax 12" in an enclosure that's too small (building a ported) and it puts my friends pair of rockford punch 1 series to shame.

a good power supply is hifonics brutus amps, while they might not be the top of the line amp out there, they do a great job and kick out a lot of power. these can be had on ebay for less than 200 and you get like 1000 watts @ 1ohm
