Default questions about headliner removal

I used the SEARCH button to try and find a how-to for removing the headliner out of the vehicle, like which pillars to remove and how to remove with what tools. But all I found was how to remove old headliner material. Can someone help me out or show me a how-to? thanks

it is fairly easy.
1. unscrew the visors and the little plastic piece the visor clip into.

2. pop the little cover off the rearview mirror and unscrew

3. using a thin screw driver pop out the speaker grills on dash(don't have to but makes it easier

4. get fingers under the top most portion or the A-pillar and pull toward middle of car.there are to push clip holding it in once those pop slide a-pillar up and out of the dash.

5. Take thin screw driver and pop the little cover on the top most part of the front seatbelt. undo the bolt underneath cover(I think it is 14MM) then using the same technique as used on the a-pillar. There is only one clip on this one and pull up. It might be easier if you take off the bottom part off.

6. For the c-pillar you need to a. unscrew the allen tie down loops b. pop the seatbelt cover off and unbolt seatbelt(14MM) c. pull weather stripping off in the rear door jam(backseats) where c-pillar touches. d. peel off weather stripping in rear hatch where it touches c-pillar(warning might have some sticky goo stuck to it. e. popthe top section of the black lower part of c-pillar. f. put all fingers(Left and right hands) under top most part of c-pillar and pull away from window when all push clips pop slide up.

7.with two large flat head screw drivers pry the (I believe)3 little round push in fasteners in the cieling above the storage area out. Be carful to pull them straight out.

8. Pop the dome light cover off and unscrew the dome light and un clip the wireing harness.

9. Now take the small thin screw driver and pop open the covers on the end of the oh $#!% handles. pry from the side closest to the center of the handle, it pivots on a thin piece of plastic on the farthest out edge. Now unbolt handles(12MM I think)

10 now the headliner is just supported by the weather striping around the doors. Peal those away and WALA headliner removed.

I hope I got everything. PM me if you have ?'s

unless you had a crappy glass company install 8 windshields, then you have to cut the urethane off the front

Glued? Thats kinda wierd. did someone mount something aftermarket up front, like a dome light, flip down screen, or maybe a sunroof? because the rear view and sun visor clips hold the stiffined front up.

Just wondering

Yeah.. I've removed mine and there was no glue in the front. Perhaps it was a factory defect.. or over sight? Thats really weird.

I think it's a 10mm bolt in the grab handles, not a 12mm.

I think...
