Ive been looking for instructions on how to take apart the top or side of the dash so that I can route the wiring for my Bel 925 so that the wiring is hidden. I have found pictures on here of people mounting it in the center of the windshield and running the wires down behind the gauge cluster but I dont want the detector located there. So what is the best way to hide the wiring if you want to mount it on your visor with a clip? Are there any DIY guides for this or does anybody have a link to a tutorial?

pull the a pillar cover and run the wire inside there, then you can pop the speaker cover and run it the rest of the way down. That way you don't have to take the dash out, although it's easy enough to do.

 

When you say pop the speaker cover off, do you mean the tweeter on top of the dash? or the speaker on the door. Im guessing you mean the top left speaker. How do you pop it out? If I went that route, would I be wiring the thing up to my fuse box most likely? Or would I still be using the cigarette lighter method? Thanks for the help by the way I appreciate it.

 

you could go either way, I would wire it directly to the fuse box with an inline fuse. Yes it's the top speaker cover, just insert a small flat-head screwdriver in the front of the speaker cover and pop it off.
