i wanted to know what kind of radar detectors are you guys using??

IMO i know Valitine 1 ( sp?? ) is the best but i really cant afford 400-500 bucks how is the passport x50 i was thinking of getttin it around 250 off of ebay.

 

I have the Beltronics Vector 945 and I love it.
Got mine at Circuit City and its super nice and only 180 dollars.
Does voice which is nice...has laser/radar/x/ka/k band its great here is the link:

I have RMR C-450...by-far the best detecter i ever had...trust me I had a lot!!! Cops eveywhere in my town. Have not messed with me since RMR-450

i would choose the 8500x50
you dont need to know if lidar is comin from the sides...

the 8500x50 is proven better at pop radar....

the valentine shows they beat the 8500 once in like 2002 and has a few testimonials...
