Default Window won't go down - Reset electrical?

My passenger side window won't go up or down from either the driverside or passenger side door.

I remember somebody talking about a way to reset something on the car to fix the problem. I tried searching but came up with nothing.

If anyone has the answer, or a link, let me know. THANK YOU!

if you unplugged the battery, you have to reset the ecu. Just hold the button up for 10 sec and it should work. If this doesnt work take it to the dealer.

I had to recet the windows when i installed my WR intake

yea the power window button when you have the car in the acc position or on it doesnt matter. just hold the power window button for 10 sec up and if that doesnt work take it to the dealer

It gives complete instructions on how to normalize (reset) it in the owners manual, as well as ones for the power locks and sunroof. Mine stopped working without me even disconnecting power. I performed the normilization procedure and it worked. But first... check the window lock button... it got me one day too

Yeah do the normalizing thing . That happened to me when I installed my remote starter in my tC. I freaked but found the solution in the owners manual. That's all . Good luck on that.

If that doesn't work take it to the dealer. Whatever you do, don't reset the battery because you will just make the driver's side window go bad also.

There's a little push-in button near the switch to roll up and down.

When I installed my sterio, and reconnected the negative battery, my passenger switch didn't work for a while, in addition to my sunroof not having the automatic open feature... I had to hold it down.

This happened to me the two times I disconnected the battery, but it worked okay that same day about an hour later.

If it continues not to work, take it to the dealer.
