Default RCA converter question

Ive tried searching on this topic already but I couldnt find anything, so here it goes. Did any of you use a RCA converter for your amp. And if so. where did you hook it up to? Thanks in advance for any info.

If you plan on using the RCAs that you want to add for a sub, you might want to just get a head unit... our stockers output is way low... I JUST did added the RCA to the stock Head unit, and the bass is totally overpowering the mids & highs.

This is why most high level line out converters have gain controls on them for adjustment to fix this problem.

Yeah wire it behind the radio and then you have plenty of room to put behind the dash and hide it.. and my converter had the output level adjusters on it.. I went to Best Buy and picked one up.

yeah they have the gain control so im not too worried on it being overpowered. I could always just reduce the amount of bass coming out through the amp or the converter. I just wanted to know where to wire it to :D
