I assume that some of you guys have hidden the rca cables somehow from your flipdown, and was curious how you did it on the xb, I'm kinda stumped.

 

you run your cable through the headliner and down the B-pillar (where your seatbelt is). that way you don't have cables dangeling everywhere.

 

I was wondering how do you mount the flip down on the roof

 

A couple of different ways....
first most flip downs come with a mounting plate, a flat piece of metal that the flip down screws to. you can mount the mounting plate to the support bar that your dome light is attached to.
lets say you wanted to mount the flip down a little farther back, then you would need to cut a piece of 1/2" wood and mount that inbetween the support beams of the roof.

if this is your first flipdown job I would say take it real slow, and if possible have someone there who has done one before help out. the last thing you want to do is put a screw through the roof.

 

I was thinking about doing a flip down or headrests. I kind of what to do the flip down more because I think you will be able to see it see it more during the day time. but headrest look a lot cleaner.
