Ok I used the search option and didn't come up with anything but does anyone
know wether or not the factory radio, single disk or six disk has RCA pre outs
on the back?

did you use the red search bar or the grey one?

Instead of just giving you the answer, I'm going to give you some info on how to search better...I'm not trying to be an *sshole, just to help you in case you aren't too familiar with the search bar.

Use the Red search bar, it's under the Staff link. Change the option to "search for all terms". type in your search terms

For this, I did two searches, "RCA Preouts". That didn't return so many good hits, so I tried "RCA outputs". Plenty of useful information.

Granted all of that was for 05 radio's, so if this is for an 06 (doubt it since you have an 05 rs1) then I deeply apologize.

yeah, the first couple of times, I got "use the search", and I got really upset about it, cause I had been. Then someone was kind enuff to tell me about the red search button (how I missed that blazing red thing is beyond me), and informed me that searching once was being lazy, not really searching...anyhow.... I just try and help people understnad the search functions alittle better, least they have to go through that same aggravating exchange I did

 

there's a guy on ebay that makes a harness to go inline with the factory plug that adds rca outs to add amps. i got it and it works great

i bought one of kits, but i'm wondering if it will work with the 06 headunits. i would hate to install it and find the steering wheel controls and aux jack dont work. anyone know?
