Default Rear space in XB

Has anybody ever measure how mu space there is in the back of an XB with the back seats fully upright? If so what did it come out to? I'm mostly interested in knowing the distance between the seats and tailgate. Thanks in advance.

That is not quite what I'm looking for. I would like to know the measurement of the space behind the back seat. That is all. I want to figure out if a particluar sub box will fit back there. The measurements of the box I want are 14" x 18 1/4" x 16"

I think maybe you ought take the initiative, get a tape measure, pencil and paper and go figure it yourself. I went to the dealership twice to measure if my bike would really fit inside.

Why can't someone be nice enough and help me out? I would measure it myself but there is a slight problem. Where I live the Scion's are currently not available.

WTF is your problem. How can I measure the inside on an XB where there isn't one in my area yet? Can any explain that to me. Well I guess I'm not going to get any help from anyone in here. Sheesh.

get off his lazy
bum and do what? Drive to another state where they are available and measure the distance between the rear seat and the lift hatch? He's in a location that doesn't have any yet. He's ordered one and wants to know if the box'll fit. Help the guy out.
(I'm still waiting on mine to get here, so I cannot. AND I passed a motorist that smashed a deer on the way to work and though "someone else already stopped", so I'm also a hypocryte. "so")

oh, you ordered one? i'll help then

18 inches deep, 34 inches wide, 19 inches high

the wheel hubs take away a couple inches, past them its probably 39 inches wide in the far back, but only an inch or two and you hit the gate.

Thanks very much. Sorry If I sounded like a jerk or whatever. Just needed to know the measurements to find out if my box will fit it and it will.

Interesting, I measure the space between the wheel housing as 38 inches.

Regardless, your box should fix.
