Default Rearview camera: Where did you tap the reverse wire?

I just finished running all my wires and installing my new rearview camera to my panasonic head unit. Put everything back together, and viola! Doesn't show a thing.

Turns out when I installed the head unit, I never bothered to hook up the reverse wire. Oops! I'd REALLY like to avoid taking my interior apart again and running another wire back to the bulb itself. I looked at the wiring diagrams, and the reverse wire is the red/black wire connected at the front harness 1E and 1F. Problem is, I think these harnesses are on the back of the driver's side fuse box, and appear to be a hopeless mass of wires that are a biscuit to get to.

To all who installed a rearview camera to a headunit, where did YOU attach your reverse wire (from said headunit)? Please tell me there's an easy way. Thanks!

It is on the front of the fuse box, way at the top. If memory serves me correctly, there are 4 plugs and it is the second from the left. When I did mine, I had my dashboard removed and that made it much easier. I hope you've got skinny arms :D

You can see the plug circled in the 5th picture down in this thread. You might be able to remove the steering column cover and get to it that way.

Oh, I see! Looking at the wiring diagrams, that is the wire AFTER the reverse switch. Looks a touch easier to get to; I do have skinny arms, but maybe not that skinny. Thanks a lot!

I tied in at the bundle of wires behind the driver side kick panel on my xA. A heck of a lot easier to get to than way up behind the fuse box.
