Default redoing system few questions....???

wuts up guys im inthe process of getting everything for my new system to do this winter.....right now i have 2 12" pioneer 500w subs powered by a 1200w rf amp and it pounds but i have had it for a few years in other cars so i want to re do it....i want to get 2 10" w6 in a custom fiberglass box...the problem is my buddy has 1 10"w6 and the sides of his car vibrate like crazy and the whole car just vibrates but sound awesome nice and clear but a few friends have told me that if i ut 2 then i could blow the hatch or the glass.... ...so i wanted some input should i do 2 or 1 or any other suggestions thanks guys....mike

Your fine. It won't blow the glass out. 2 12's here with 1600w.... It will sound even better if you put in some dynamat

that'll never happen even if you got 4 of those subs and had the amps and electrical system to back it up. Go for the 2 and rock on.

He's right, it takes huge amounts of bass reproduction to blow glass out.

nothing will break. Like I said, even if you had 4 of those woofers, and the amps and electrical system to back it up...it'll never break. You may shake things loose here and there, but thats in an extreme case.

the only time glass might break is if you are over 165 dB. That is really hard to do. our shop truck have 6 15s with 4500watts and nothing has ever broken
