Default Remove Stock Deck (xA) -- Running into a bump.. help!

Ohhh yahh! Picked up my scion on Friday and I've been loving it so far! Very happy with it! Got a Black xA MT.

Sorry for the headache because I know this must have been posted somewhere on this forum but my searching skills don't seem to give me the correct answer.

Looking to change out the stock deck with a Pioneer DEH-7600MP so I can aux in my iPod as well. Anywhoo, looking for instructions on removing out the stock deck because Crutchfields doesn't provide a tool and upon visual inspection, doesn't seem like it's a simple unscrew bolt procedure.

A link to the thread/website or your own instructions would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!

1) remove heater/ac control *****
2) remove two screws behind the *****
3) remove silver aluminum trims on the side
4) remove two more screws that holds the upper trim that surrounds the radio...
5) pull off trim that goes around the radio
6) remove 4 screws that hold the radio in place...

I will try and get pictures up when i can...

I assume those screws are behind the trim I just removed next to the AC/Heater controls? If you could get pictures, that would be super. Thanks again!

Running into a little bump in the road.

I removed both screws behind the AC ***** and am trying to pull the side trim out but doesn't want to budge. Am I forgetting to remove a screw or is there a special technique I can use so the trim comes off?

Thanks for your help.

you can use a very flat, flat headed screwdriver, or you can pull real hard from the bottom then work your way up...
