Default Replacement iPod cable?

I cannot believe how difficult it is to find this thing. If I knew what pin it was and exactly what the part # was and all that, it'd be easier, but anyway..

I've lost my iPod adapter cable, the one that plugs into the center console, controlling your iPod through the head unit. Does anybody have any clue where to get a replacement? I went to the dealer and they don't have any "on hand" so I have to wait for the guy to call Toyota about ordering it. Chances are, he'll get back to me in 7.5 million years, so I'm exploring other options. Please let me know if you know anything about that type of cable or how to get a new one.

95 bucks through the dealer. COMPLETELY ridiculous. Does anybody else know where I can get this tiny cable?

$95 is ridiculous. How much are you willing to pay for one? I have one that I do not need. I am sure we can work something out that is much better than the dealer.

Well ya know, I've been doing research for the last two days to find out who exactly makes this part. Its difficult since Pioneer's online part search doesn't really have any details on the Scion stereo's and every stinkin' time I punch in "ipod scion data cable" into google I get reviews for the tC and links to some moron selling AUX cables on eBay.

Sorry for the rant. Anywho, I've narrowed down two companies that make an iPod adapter but neither does what the Scion does. Both of those trick the CD Changer into thinking its playing a disc when its playing the iPod. Anywho, they sell a comparable cable for about 40 bucks, so I suppose I'd be willing to do that. Not sure how generous you feel like being. = )

Well, seeing as how it was an extra one that the dealer gave to me without knowing one was already in the car, how does $30 shipped to your door sound?

Send a message to the user named "kustom play." He also inquired to me about selling an extra he had. I'll let him know now since I'm lazy and haven't responded to him yet.

= ( Sorry, kustom.
