Right side Distortion ?

Right side Distortion ?
About once a week the left front speaker does uber distorted. Shut the unit off, wait 5 minutes and it works fine.
I thought maybe the speaker was touching metal but no, it's free and clear.
What do you think ? Wiring harness or the unit shorting out ?
