Hey,

Anyone have this amp http://www.ultimateelectronics.com/s...ProductID=3477
Any comments about it? I am about ready to buy it (not from ultimate), I heard its a great amp, just wondering if anyone has it in their scion and can give me some feedback.

it's a decent amp, just make sure when you buy sub(s) that you can wire them to a 2 ohm load...

Why do they have to be in 2 ohm mode? It can handle 4ohm and 2ohm.

oh and its going to be powering a fosgate 10 inch p2 sub.

the amp makes 300 watts at 4 ohms, while it makes 600 at 2 ohms...

I would reccomend getting a single 4 ohm p2... you aren't getting the most out of that amp however giving it only a 4 ohm load...

I use a Rockford Fosgate P3001 that powers a 10" Stage 2 sub. Pretty much the same setup your looking at, but a 3001, not 6001. I personally like it a lot. It depends what your looking for in a sound system. The punch dial that it comes with for you to control the sub is really convient. Definite plus.
