Default Running wires to doors?

I am loking for ideas on how to get this done. I know there is a rubber wire loom running from the door to the interior and that is what I'm trying to run wires through. I tried a wire hanger but it was awkward and not quite pliable enough. I know there has got to be an easier tool to use. Any ideas guys?

I used a coat hanger to run wires into my door. I found it easier to run the wire starting from inside the door. It seemed easier to manuerver that way

I used the long, not thin but not to thick, Zip Ties from home depot. They worked perfectly and def made my install easier.

At my work we use a wire puller, a 2 foot long bendable rubber piece that has a bullet end and a wire mesh holder to hold the wires to go through grommets in fire walls and somtimes thru boots or you could get a wire grabber or a claw has 4 claws on one side and the other side is pushed down to open the claws they work great. I think they sell them at sears for $18, a very large zip tie works good too.
