Default Scosche dash kit pic for XB (56k perhaps)

If you are thinking of going with an aftermarket HU this might be helpful... Unless you have the big bucks for a worthwile double din or LCD setup.

Just installed last night.

Ive seen worse dash kits.

Does Metra make a double din kit (for 2 DIN units, that is)? I got the junk AI from crutchfield for free with my head unit, but I'm modifying it for my single did unit now. Eventually, I'll add another single din unti in the form of a DVD player.

should be out soon. it trims out the sides so you don't have any gaps. I did a tC with the Kenwood double DIN and I made a trim ring out of ABS and fastened it to the dash. looks good and the door is still functional.

Blah Metra Tech Support is junk. Said that they haven't developed anything as of yet for a double din on Scions. My D1 looks kinda goofy with a gap on both sides. Maybe I need to call up AI and see what they have.

why is that the tech support junk because they didn't have the kit you were looking for? BTW, the part number you want is 95-8202. It's just been released.

many companies don't let their front line people know of developing products because then comsumers will be flooding the phone lines asking "is it ready? is it ready? how about now? how about now?"

yep. Colin is my boss. he runs the tech and research depts.
I think the cover photo for the instructions for the brackets will have my xB dash in it. I think we used a JVC or Eclipse radio for the pic.

I guess you called a little while back and he picked up. I was out of the shop I guess when you called.
