Seat Covers - xA and xB rear headrest differences...
Hello everyone,
There's been a post earlier about the difference in size between the xB and the newer model xA's rear headrests. That being noted, I thought I'd bring this up in the context of seat covers.
I just recently received a set of seat covers from ExactSeatCovers for my 2006 xA. First off, I'm not knocking them at all. Their quality is great - the front seats look almost like they're factory. The rear seat backs and bottom also fit very well.
The issue is with the rear headrests (outer left/right). Starting with the late-2005/2006 models, Scion started putting in smaller headrests, most likely for visibility through a lower roofline than the xB. Most seatcovers are bundled in the "Fits Both xA & xB" category, wherein lies the small problem. My rear headrest covers were waaaay to big. I'm hoping ExactSeatCovers will resolve this problem soon.
This is more of a heads up to everyone who might order seat covers for their 05/06 xA, regardless of the vendor. If covering your rear headrests to "complete the package" is important, you may want to double-check before buying.
Regards,
Al
