Default Seeking info on the factory speakers

I kind of like the sound of the factory 6.5 speakers in the front doors. Since I'm putting in my other gear soon, I'd like to take a look at the specs of the factory front speakers. They might work as midbass speakers if I run new wiring to them and power them off my EQ and amplifier setup. Are they standard 4-ohm units, or some weird setup?

...Tomas? ;)

If you are going to be putting any amount of amplification to those speakers, you will quickly learn to hate them. If you are putting in a big system, you will really like having a nice set of seperates in there.

So are they 4 ohms? How deep are they? They must be super shallow if we all have to make 1.5" baffles for "normal" speakers

More than likely they are 4ohm but as stated above I wouldnt suggest powering them with an external amp.
