Default shift handle for the xa automatic

I did a search and couldnt find any helpful info.
My wife went and bought me matching ichibahn ebrake handle and auto shifter handler.
I dremeled off my ebrake handle and my new one looks great (will post some pics later)

But I can't figure out how to put on the new auto shifter handler. If anybody has done this, please give me some tips. I have had it over week, and I feel lame that my wife went out and bought me something and I haven't put it on my car.

It seems that most aftermarket A/T shifter ***** are designed for Hondas and other cars with a round threaded shift lever. I've seen a few Napolex and Razo shift ***** designed for Toyotas but there's custom fitting and cutting/splicing of wires involved. The one install I saw was done quite nicely but even so the overdrive button didn't quite work right.

I'd say eBay it off and get a custom leather wrap made :D

Oh, and congrats on the e-brake handle. I'd love to see photos.

I have the Razo shift **** and as mentioned above had to cut the OD wires and hook them back to the new shifter. Not that hard. However, sithscripter is correct about the "action" of the OD button. What I did was to hook the stock button up as well and run the wire up to the base of my ebrake handle and affix the button on the underside of the ebrake so it can not be seen. I can use either button and the one on the underside of the ebrake is actually in an very convenient location. All you have to do is splice the wires to both buttons to the leads from the car. I'm sure I have made this sound more complicated then it really is. If you end up trying this out give me a PM and I'll get you a picture of where I put the other button.
