Default Shifter kit

I was wondering what the advatages of the different shifter kits out there are, including the randode one. I want something that is close to factory and wont screw up warranty but will most importantly take a lot of the play out of my shift linkage and still be able to use the stock shifter boot

I think you'd need shifter bushings to constrict play on the shifter rods... I'm not sure, though...

what kind of play i am supposed to be seeing. like in gear i can move the **** in a circle about a half inch in diameter. is this normal, and what can i do to reduce it. I really just want my shifter to be real tight, like when in gear it is bolted down, none of this woble crap.

I haven't noticed any real play in gear, but I know there's play in neutral. I'd get shifter bushings to make the shift more direct to gear instead of misshifting and grinding. I don't think they have shifter bushings out for the xA/xB yet...I wonder if the celica bushings would work... I also want a short shifter, but I want to see a couple of reviews of the Performance R and the Randode short shifter (not just pics).
