just wondering if i should run power to my cap before my dist block, which would give it to the 4 channel amp, as well as my mono...or should i just run the power into the dist block and put the cap on the line to the mono amp......thanks guys

 

Usually when Im doing a system like this I put it before the distro block.

 

it does not matter where in the system you put it. it will 'supply' its energy back into the whole system.

unless you can isolate the cap into one circuit it will feed the entire system (car).

where you put it might also depend on what size wire you use. 4ga. is cheaper than 0ga. (plus terminals or connectors)
