What Howard did not tell you is that it will cost you $150 to activate the so called "Free" unit. You are required to pre purchase a years worth of service.

What a ripoff they charge so much for activation that it pays for the radio also. Howard is not giving anything away for free. XM radio is only $9.99 per month. Thats $119.88 per year. Thay can't be serious can they?

i drove like a mad man from South Jersey to get to the Howard Stern give away. I got there just around 2PM and they were packing all the stuff into the Serious trucks. Not only did i suck that i drove all the way there ( tolls and fuel ) but i also got a parking ticket. $95! Now that really sucks.

And yes, i plan on paying for the Serious service. I will have my xB stock unit wired for satellite, along with a new head unit for my rig, and get a boom box for everywhere else. Im not getting the Serious set up for Howard, he will be a plus for having it. I like to listen to music. I have found that when life throws me curves, i can always find sollice in music. But if i hear the new U2 song one more time, im gonna loose it. By adding satellite radio, i can have any kind of music, along with channels like Comedy Central. Nothing beats dealing with a$$holes on the road like laughter. JMO
