Default simple...

Just wanted to share my setup. I have spent a ton of time reduicing weight in my car, and i wasnt even going to do a system, but i recieved some decent product for free so i decided to run with it. They way my system is setup is almost like a free air setup, so my sub acts as a midrange driver, and the best part is, i can slide the entire setup out within a matter of minutes whether it be for a fun little drive or track time.

Either way. heres a few pics.

...spare tire, tools and etc also still can fit back there.

setup is:
infinity 12" reference dual 4ohm wired down to 2ohms
audioban 4002t 2 chanel (running roughly at 100hz withn subsonic to compensate for free air)
tsunami 4agu wiring

...sounds really nice and clean. not too loud to drone out the stock speakers, and it doesent rattle my car to pieces.

Very nice, clean and simple. +A! That is super nice.

I plan on way over doing mine and weighting down the car by about 300lbs. I'm sure you will beat me down the track every time.

Nice!!!
Great idea in having your sub and amp attached to the insert as a 1 piece! I can see how you could pull that out in a minute, and then plug and play back in. Good stuff!!!

nice and simple! I just installed a "similar" simple setup - MTX thunder 7000 sub with a 280-watt mtx amp. It's nice and simple, doesn't drown the stock speakers and doesn't rattle my car to hell either.

nice setup,

any chance you can write up a DIY for this mod? the cutting... the placement... everything? i've flirted with the idea of puttin a sub and amp in my car and you did it excellently. i would like to place the sub in the middle and an amp on each side - one for the sub and the other for the factory replacement speakers.

not bad, not a fan of free-air use but it's not bad at all.

Very nice setup. Clean installation.
Just remember, if it's visible and easily removable, be careful where you park. Any thief that eyes that will have it out in no time!
P.S. If you catch the thief in the act, remember this... Three in the chest, two in the head! One less thief in this world is a good thing!
