So does anyone have a owners book for their 06 xb or tc raido? Mine didnt come with one and been trying to get the dealer to get it for me. But...


does anyone know if you can make the text random change or scroll or anything without having to hit the stupid text button? man what a pain in the rear that is having to reach over and hit text to see the band name or song title etc. There has got to be a way to make it cycle though the text.


And wow with Sirius it cuts off the text to less than HALF the screen. At least with my IPOD it goes all the way across but with Sirius its about 10 characters max. Sucks.

I've read that functionally, the head unit is the same as the 05's, so the text will only change with the touch of the button.

That's lame IMO.

 

Yeah, you have to hit the text button to display the text, or scroll through album, title, etc.

But other than that, I have been pretty happy with my the HU and my iPOD.

 

Ok I just picked up a 06 head unit with all the plugs and wires for $200 so that I could connect my Ipod to it. I looked but didn't find to much info on it I know it displays the song, album title but can you control the Ipod with the radio controls?
