I guess its turning out pretty damn nice so far! oh yea and I'm making a little compartment to the side for tools, and what not.

materials and tools used so far:
jigsaw
3/4" MDF
some 2x4s
template used, the Scion trunk mat lol

on with the pix










this is what the template used







waitin on the sub so I can make the cutout, and some black speaker box carpet and i'm all set...its gonna house a 15" btw

its to mount my subwoofer on. its a sealed box basically for my sub. I didnt wanna lose the trunk space and I sure dont want to advertise my system when I open my hatch everytime. So you can hear the bump, but you cant see the gear. it works for me

the spare is removed as well as the rest of the black foam. The compartment on the right is where I'll keep a few tools and emergency kit. It will have a hinge and a handle to open.

yea but u just have a board right now... you need a box and it inclosed to have it sound good.. I see your in central cali I see 209 area code in the bottom nice to have another local. Im in the 925 need help or any product let me know.

finished the box up yesterday. major rattling in the hatch area, lol. today i dynamatted the trunk and all the rattles are gone. this thing sounds freakin amazing!

i'll be at Scion Night II if you wanna take a listen









i'm scurrying to finish the top layer... i should have it done by next week..i will post the finished product later.

Is that MDF that you use ? you got a template of your MDF or did you just use your cargo mat and traced them ??

yea, its 3/4" MDF. I used the cargo mat for a template, the one that has the folds on the sides.

i have the same idea with that.....just a little differnt......(you will all see when it finally gets done) but yea....full size spare....lil plexiglass...all my trunk space left over....you get the idea.

Actually eujin took your idea and doing a temp one like it for the up coming show... just one 10 though.... and amp sunken in on the side

all i need to do is the little compartment on teh right, need to carpet that, get a hinge and a sleek hidden handle.







sorry for the ____ty pix, i gotta goto work in a few mins. so yea, there ya have it. sounds good, and no rattles at all.

got my box all set, did a compartment on both sides... one for the jack stuff and the other for the storage... one 10 fits perfect. plenty of space down there still. Should have finshed pics tomorrow.

Assuming you have to take the tire out for this to work....what's the jack for.
