Spare sits on top of the sub and you use the net and the hooks that are factory in the back... and still have room left over.

I want to build a small box on the side storage compartment with a 10" or even 8" sub. What do you guys think about the feasibility of that?

its perfectly feasible:

it doesnt look very good because its only half finished, but it sounds great.

That's exactly what I was thinking of! What is the mounting depth of that sub?

Remember box size will be different depending on what sub you use...

man my 12 inch sub requires a 1.00 cu ft sealed enclosure.....I made a dummy fit box out of cardboard that was 15x20x6.75.....it's only .75 cu ft....

anyone know if it will be a big deal putting a memphis pr124 12 inch sub in .75 when it recommends a 1.00? I've always built to spec, but I really want this floor enclosure to happen.....

although it doesn't use much actual room on the floor you're still limited with what you can carry in ur tC because the sub is in the middle of the trunk and you don't want any mishaps of something falling into the cone area of the sub, unless you make a grill for it . i like how that mtx sub is placed all the way to the right where it gives you the most amount of space to use for cargo.

my box was finished earlier this week and this still leaves me with a little more then half my cargo space especially when the larger half of the seats are folded down.

nice setups in the tC's btw. it's nice to see people finding different ways to mount their subs
