i just ordered a kicker kx350.4 amp and kicker rs6c components. i was originally gonna go with a rockford 200.4 but i wasn't sure if that was enough power. the kicker will give me 175w x 2 @ 4ohms bridged and also 60w x 4 @ 4ohms. the components are also at 4 ohms. that's def more than enough to power the components, right? also, is there a way to use just 3 of the channels? i wanted to use 2 channels to power each side of components and then 1 channel to power a subwoofer. i have the bazooka sub, but i was thinking about taking the sub out and putting a new one into that enclosure. if i can't go to 3 channels, does that mean i would just have to go with the 4 channel setup and leave 1 channel open? cruthfield has this thing they're selling that works with the kicker amp: a tri-way crossover. i guess that lets u go from 2 channel to 3 channel? does that also mean that instead of having 2 channels running at 175w i'd have 3 channels at like 120w basically? is there a negative to running the tri-way crossover if the components already have a crossover? other than the alpineV12, are there other amps out there that let u run 2/3/4 channels? thanx for helping. i'm not so good with stereo stuff. i used to just have my cousin do whatever setup he thought was best, but he moved to cali and now i'm stuck.
on that amp, there are 2 front and 2 rear channels....to run the comps and subs off it, you'll have to connect the left component to the front left channel, the right component to the front right channel, and then the positive from one rear channel and the negative from the other rear channel to run to your sub.....this would be 3 channel.....

so i don't need a tri-way crossover like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-PetMhDD...127TM100&o=&a= to get 3 channels? i don't wanna use 60w x 4 and then have to leave one channel open and not be able to use the full power of the amp. thanx
the way that was described is using full power of the amp. The left and right channels are bridged to combine the power into a single channel mono source into the sub..
bridging combines the power of 2 channels and "bridges" it into a single channel.
hope that helps
