Default Speaker Size on the tC

Can someone tell me what are the speaker sizes on the tC?

I want more bass, but I don't want to put 2 12s in my trank.

I am just planning to change all 4 speakers in the tC and power them with a 4 Channel amp.

Also, is it possible to run the AMP on the stock CD player?

Please advice.

6.5 in the front, 6.5 in the back.

You can run an amp on the stock deck with an adapter (they sell them on eBay all the time)

I agree. I've got 1 12" Polk Momo with 150W RMS going to it and that's plenty.

Yeah it took a couple days for everything. I could have mounted the crossovers in the doors and I wouldn't have had to run twice as much speaker wire but itw as worth it to have it all look pretty in the trunk. The Diamond crossovers are so nice looking there's no way I wanted to stick them in the doors. I plan on doing something a little nicer looking... like fiberglass or something in the summer... if I get gutsy enough to try it.

Originally I thought I would want to replace those Alpine amps because they were so cheap, but they're doing their job so nicely, and they've been troopers throughout the cold ___ winter we've had, so I'm not so sure I want to get rid of them now. If you have any more questions I'd be glad to answer them! Thanks for the comments.

You can fit any size speakers into the doors and panels...all you have to do is make a bracket out of MDF......that's what I used...

the factory speaker size is a 5.25......but you can put any size in there.......just make a MDF plate bracket.......that way you have something sturdy to mount to......
