steering wheel painting?
Hey do you have to take the whole wheel apart to get to the 2 silver pieces? it seems like u might. i was gona pull on them but i dont want to break anything. i have a 06 with audio controls.
Sorry Nasty xb that the first response to your post is not an informative one BUT
I would love to know aswell since the one with the audio controls seems to be warped. I know its not but it looks like it
Thanks anyone

you have to take it apart.
you'd have to disconnect battery and wait about 90secs for airbag precautions. then there are two t30 hex bolts on the side of the steering wheel u loosen completely. from there the air bag should be able to be removed. then u can access the screw for each plastic accent.
hope this helps.

your lucky you have scres that hold the plastic pieces in. my 2005 xB is part of the airbag piece, so you have to remove the airbag like dekthai said then tape off the airbag then paint the silver pieces.
