Default Stock Headunit Help

ok so its 10:51pm and im trying to hook up my new amp to my stock 6cd changer. So i take it out, look on the back, and see a whole bunch of jibberish.

I have a Left and Right wire that i need to hook up to my amp, then my sub, but i dont know which wires to tap.

I found this in the tech section but i am still not sure which speaker to tap.

Harness A Wires -

Radio 12v blue - On the far right side bottom IIRC
Radio Ground brown
Radio Ignition gray - Tap this one to control amp power via the remote wire.
Radio Illumination green
Power Antenna - orange - Does this actually do anything?
LF Speaker Pos. - Pink
LF Speaker Neg. - Purple
RF Speaker Pos. - lt. green
RF Speaker Neg. - blue - Looks identical to the 12v, but on the left side below the light green RF Speaker Pos. wire.

Harness B Wires -
small white wire comming out of the middle???

LR Speaker Pos. - brown
LR Speaker Neg. - yellow
RR Speaker Pos. - red
RR Speaker Neg. - white - lower gauge (thicker) than the other white one mentioned above.
some help please? id like to get the amp fully installed by midnight so i can put my car back together!

What? Do you have an adapter or are you going ghetto?

And I thank you for going stock.
Scion(pioneer) stock stereo is alot better than most aftermarket, and quite a bit of stock(even bose) that I have heard. Keep it stock, keep it SCION!

he's using High Level inputs on his amplifier......

You're going to need a positive and negative wire for BOTH RR and RL........ so there should be a total of 4 wires that you'll need to run to the High Level input(on amp) from the deck.... go by the chart above for wire coloring....

pg: the stock Pioneer if far from par from any other OEM deck and certainly nowhere near as good as practically every aftermarket unit out mainly because it doesn't have any crossovers or boosts or "dsp" settings or NF outputs or graphics(not a big deal)......but alot of people don't want everyone to know they have a system in their car for fear of thievery....that's cool and all.....but to say the pioneer is BETTER than any aftermarket HU, I'd have to laugh at ya for that one.....

I do, however, commend you on using High Level Inputs instead of a POS Line level converter.....You're going to get better SQ using those rather than a $hitty LLC.....

thanks for the info.
i actually, um, cant afford a different head unit at the moment, at least not the one i want, so im sticking with what ive got for now, i think it sounds ok.

So lemme see if ive got this right:
Ive got a left and right cable
do i hook up the positive and negative from the left rear speaker to the left cable?
or do i hook up both positives to the left cable
and both negatives to the right cable?

i swear, i can do anything with electronics, but audio is totally new to me

Your amp, if two channel, should have Power and Ground. Those go to battery and chasses respectively and do not have anything to do with speakers or radios.

There's a blue wire, I'd bet, that's the remote power on to make the amp come on with the deck.. looks like that hooks to “Radio Ignition gray”.

Then there's Left positive and Left Negative for sound. Run your wires for that off “brown” and “yellow”, respectively.

Finally there's right positive and right negative. Run your wires for that off “red” and the “thicker white”, respectively.

If it's not clear after reading this post, you'd better button your dash back up and get some help.
