so im looking at getting a kicker L7 12" (rms is 750). the prob is i dont know if its going to be powerful enough in my xB.Its just some i can have some boom i dont need nothing real serious i listen to like metal and a little rap so its always good to have some. Just wanted to see if anyone has something of the same and tell me if they like it or not.

 

ive got two i had in my celica and i love them! i had an 800 watt fosgate amp and it was some massive power! im getting ready to put them into the xb. but one should be enough for a little bass

 

you had an 800 fosgate pushin 2 L7's? that doesnt sound to right

 

well....it was the fosgate 801s amp, 2400 watts max!, but i later found out it was only 800. Now i have a kicker 1200.1 and its the best thing ever, but i havent hooked it up to the L7's causei have to build a box lol. The kicker amp is hooked to 2 memphis 12's atm, still in the celi. But yea i had the 2 L7's to an 800 watt amp, but it got really hot after long use, im thinkin cause it was trying to work so hard.
