Ok, I'll be picking up the Orion H2 sub in about an hour, so now I need a sub to match it. I'm looking at the Hifonics amp that SCI TC GUY mentioned earlier, but wondering what other options I have (looking for bang for the buck

Would the Phoenix Gold 15.0:1 amp be sufficient? I found a deal on ebay for it, around $260 shipped. good price?

Thanks soo much guys!

Thanks again for all the help RTon20s and SCI TC GUY. You guys are great and really helped me out today. Well, I ended up picking up the Orion sub and an Orion amp from the same guy so it looks like everthing's going to get installed today as scheduled. :D

You might be able to fit a sweet tweeter in 1.5"^3

actually though I'm a big fan of Image Dynamics and Elemental Designs subs...they are both amazing quality at good prices. If you want to go more mainstream you can go with kicker comp vr or jl w0-w3

Haha, woops, that was a typo. Well, everything was installed last night at MotorFx here in SoCal and it looks great. I still want to make a beauty board for the amp so hopefully that can be taken care of in the next few weeks.

Thanks bro, I couldn't be happier with the look of the whole setup. The sub had to be mounted with the magnet out because it was to big for the opening in the enclosure which kinda works out cause that huge magnet isn't hidden this way.

I'm picky when it comes to custom stuff...and I have to say that is one of the sexiest things I've ever seen outside of a full on demo car...could you take some pictures from other angles...I'm super interested in how they mounted that...do you have a rear upper strut bar in there?

Also if you don't mind me asking...how much did they charge you to make that?

Thanks for the compliment. The enclosure mounts on the shock towers with the help of a couple of spacers. I'll try to take a pic or two from different angles soon.

I was a little hesitant to post the pic cause I still want to make a simple housing for the amp with some plexiglas and some lighting to spruce it up a bit more, but thanks again for the kind words.

yeah the amp is kind of plain now...but who's gonna even look at it with that sweet sub enclosure staring them in the face?

Hopefully they made the glass thick so it will double as a rear strut bar!

Doesn't look like that memphis would be too difficult to do a cutom paint job on if you really wanted silver pearl.

If you really want a sweet looking amp I'm a huge fan of the JBL power series or higher amps with the plexi on the top so you can see all the guts.
