Default tC Audio Setups?

For the life of me I cannot find any threads with people posting their audio setups in their tC, I'm going to be ordering my tC pretty soon, and while Im waiting im going to be ordering my audio parts, but I dont have the slightest clue, about what speakers work and such...

1. What kind of speakers would I be getting for the car? Components?

2. If get "component" speakers, the ones that come with tweeters, is there a place in the car to mount the tweeters, if so, where, will I have to do any modifications, or will it just go in?

3. Will I be able to fit the speakers or will there have to be modifications done to the interior of my car, if so, what kind?

As time goes on Ill be updating this thread with more questions....

Thanks :D

I put polk audio db650 in the doors and the rear. If you press and hold the ssp button the stock head unit it will let you select the eq setting for tc,xa,or xb. I set mine for the xa or xb. it sounds awesome, also purchased the sub upgrade.

I cut off my stock wiring harness. I wired the OEM pioneer deck (single CD model) directly to the JL 500/5 amp ($850). From there the amp is wired directly to each OEM speaker. I did it this way to get much more volume, and I can cut off the bass at whatever frequency I want, with selectable slopes (-12dB or -24dB0. The sub, being a 5 channel, is hooked up to one 10" JL W3 sub. The system is LOUD, literally deafening. With no rattle, and enough bass to hurt on some songs. Could have a cleaner setup. The amp fits snugly under the right side of the trunk mat where the storage part is. And on top is only 1 10" box. The box pops out for a completely stock look, with no visible wires. Great for racing and daily driving if you still want a functional hatchback.

I plan on upgrading the internals to Boston Acoustics down the road, but for now, it sounds amazing. I'll wait until something blows. Also, the whole systm is wired with Monster Cable now. It sounds much better than the crap I had when I used the Rockford stuff.

something like that runs anywhere from 5 - 8 g's
parts range anywhere from 3 - 5000 depending on where you get them from and if places are willing to work out packages...

labor for the regular components (amps, radio, screens speakers, ps2 ) go for about 600 and the trunk goes for about 2400 painted... some shops charge less but you also get less... it takes some time to get the piece baby butt smooth with no waves mostly all of it was hand sanded, da sanders don't get it as smooth as i would like it...

of course being he was my friend since we were in diapers, just bought a tc, was willing to get soem good equipment, and leave the car off for a month (at least 80 hours of sanding) so i can work on it when i chose to... he got a break... but still paid a couple of bucks...
