Default TC headlight doesnt auto turn off after compustar install..

Hey everyone. I just got a cumpustar 2wss alarm/remote starter installed in my tc and i noticed my headlights dont turn off after closing the door anymore like it used to.. Anyone know what the problem is, can my installer fix this or is this just part of the alarm?

thanks in advance!

That is a deff. problem with the install. I would take it back. sounds to me like they tied into the door trigger in the wrong place or they left a plug unhooked. Is everything else working, ie door chime dome lights?

did you start the car before you turned the head lights on. Sorry to ask a dumb question just making sure. I noticed if you turn the headlights on before the key is in the ignition that the auto off doesn't work

it still works, i have it in mine..if your letting it run and shut off when you close your door it wont....if you shut it off with the foot brake then it works.

Friend has done plenty of TC alarms, and not a single one has had an issue. Take it back to the installer and make them fix it.

the lights are supposed to shut off when you open your door if the engine is off. if it (engine) is still running (like it does with compustar if you dont hit the brakes) the lights wont shut off either.
