You know, the ones that lock and unlock the floor panels? I think they're causing a really annoying vibration when my sub hits. Any thought as to how to quiet them down? Thanks!
I had this problem too. I think it was more the lid vibrating against the compartment lip beneath than the clips. I cut up some adhesive velcro strips (just the fuzzy side) and put them underneath the lid near the corners (close to the clips) and near the center (near the pull strip). It helped fill the small gap between the lid and compartment lip. This made it so I have to apply downward pressure on the lid in order to get the clips to twist lock into place, and it takes a little extra pressure to get them to twist, but once they are locked there is no room at all for the lid or the clips to vibrate. I also removed the lid and wrapped the hinges in some electrical tape (just a few layers wrapped around the cylinder part of the hinge that slides into the hinge slot), because those rattled sometimes too.

So, much to my dismay, the vibration is in the EFFING SUB! Grrrr. Something's up with the driver and is rattling. It still hits, so the voice coil isn't fused, but it sounds awful. I've removed it until I can commit some time to do proper surgery on it.
