Those w/ Dealer-Installed Sirius Headunits -- Happy with It?
Hi all -- Later this week I'll become the proud owner of a new 2006 xA in salsa red. I'm a Sirius radio subscriber, and I want Sirius in this car. (Gotta have my Howard!) Currently I use an Audiovox plug and play unit that I'm pleased with. I could install it in the new car and leave it at that. However, I'd like the convenience of having Sirius as part of the headunit. Those of you who got the dealer-installed Sirius -- any regrets? Would you do it again, or make a different choice?
I enjoy the Sirius radio itself - but it does have a couple things I wish were different. It only displays so many letters of text - so when you hear a song you like and would like to go buy it/download it/etc., sometimes you can't read the entire name.
It is very handy being able to switch stations from the stearing wheel - but you can't go station by station...you go favorite station by favorite station. This isn't so much of a problem as it is an annoyance if you've got a wide taste in music.
