trying to decide which In dash dvd head unit to get. I have come across a few.
Does anyone use one of these or another one i don't have listed?
What I want it for is to eventually hook up a game system, and for navagation eventually, and either xm, or sirius radio .

What I ran across are these so far.

I have the Kenwood DDX7015. I have headrest monitors, xbox, and sirius hooked up to it. I like it alot. Easy to install. Easy to hook up other devices to it. By far my favorite head unit. I can't really compare it to the others cause I have never used them.

 

good thats a good start. I have heard good things about that one.

 

I have the Clarion VRX935VD with the TV tuner and DTS system hooked up, as well as a second dvd player. This radio kicks a$$. I got it for a great deal too. I have a total of 5 tv's hooked up in my car and I can play something different on all of my Tv screens.

 

so what are some things you like and dislike about your units?

 

I like everything about my unit. Got no complaints from me. It has everything including a built in crossover, EQ, center channel output, sub otput. You can even play the sound from the headunits dvd player for the front seat people, and play a second dvd players audio through the back speakers at the same time. That way you can watch and hear two different dvd's at the same time. I love my unit.

Pioneer AVHP 6600dvd Awesome piece for it's price...
Kenwood DDX7015 Really nice piece but i would recommend a very nice amplifier if you plan on taking the radio past 29 on the controls (radio goes to 35)
also take into consideration the price of a custom trim...

Clarion VRX 935VD and VRX 745VD Nice units but many units tend to get bad pixels in them... no one will warranty them except the place you bought the unit from... a piece you should definitely not buy on the net...

Have yet to fully explore the kvt 911dvd... it's a really expensive unit...
