I've got a few question for you surfcitylocal.

1. I love you.
2. What part of SoCal are you in? Planning to go to the WestCov meet?
3. Do I need the "Round Rocker" from oznium?

I was thinking about getting cathods under the dash, backseat, and if not too difficult the handlebars.

4. Is it hard to do the handlebars?
5. Where can I get blue "dome" lights? And how do you do the cupholder? Those look like you have to drill a hole into your cupholders. T_T
6. I also want to put LED lights into the A/C where do I get the lights? And if there is a DIY on that too, I cant find it.

1. I love you.
Um, I love you too...hell, I'll love anybody for the right price!

2. What part of SoCal are you in? Planning to go to the WestCov meet?
I won't be able to make that one, I get off work too late. I will however be at the Hamer meet in Mission Hills tomorrow, Sunday. I live in Huntington Beach.

3. Do I need the "Round Rocker" from oznium?
You can use any switch you chose. The one from Oznium is nice looking though.

I was thinking about getting cathods under the dash, backseat, and if not too difficult the handlebars.

4. Is it hard to do the handlebars?
They are not that tough. It just takes a little time. Here is a link to a DIY is did on them:
http://scinergyie.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2417

5. Where can I get blue "dome" lights?
You can find blue dome light bulbs at parts stores like Pep Boys. I found mine at Autobachs.

And how do you do the cupholder? Those look like you have to drill a hole into your cupholders. T_T
You do have to drill a hole, it's not a big hole nor is it noticeable if you use the back part of the cupholder.

6. I also want to put LED lights into the A/C where do I get the lights? And if there is a DIY on that too, I cant find it.
Again, it's not that tough to do, you just need some patience and a steady hand. Here is the DIY for it: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...l+color+colour (it's a long post with several different ways to do it)

Hope that helps!

Few more quickies.

How easy is it for you to switch the cathodes on and off? How do you turn it off? >_>

I am assuming it is illegal to drive with all your cathodes on, so the under dash could be on during your normal drive at night, but the others must be off. Gotta think ahead before I order them, I plan to install them next weekend.

It's easy to turn them on and off, just flip the switch.

I don't drive with mine on but I'm not sure of the legal issues. I just use them at shows and meets.

Also, how many rocker switches do I need? >_>

I'm going to get underdash, 2 in the trunk, 2 under passenger, 2 4" in the side of the door.

You can go with three switches or connect them all to one switch. Either way will work.

I hate to recall how much I paid for mine through the dealer. However... if anyone has any questions on how Toyota installs them (mine were installed at the port... not the dealer) or where or anything, let me know.

I love my Oznium cathodes. Phil is great to deal with also! Seeing surfcities makes me want to add more than the ones under the F/R seats. Door panels are a great idea bro! Keep them coming!!!

honestly it would probably be a better idea for you to run power from the fuse box

heres a good place to get started

If you're refering to my mirror, it does not allow the passenger visor to be lowered. There is no TV in it. It is just a wide angle view mirror with blue LED's on the underside.

surfcitylocal... what kinda lights you running for parking lights?

They seem bright like LEDs but arent they supposed to burn out if placed in the headlight housing?

Anyone rig these to the interior light? I'd like to have something like this that lights up the interior when the door is opened up and such, but not while i'm driving. Not to mention the interior light blows, and could use some help....
