i run LEDs in my headlamp and ive never ever had a problem with the heat from the headlamps. The leds work just as good as the day i installed them a couple months ago.

I have had no problems with the heat from the headlights. I used 5 mm LED's that I bought from Japan. I soldered a resistor to the LED and used heatshrink to protect it. This page will show you what I mean, you can buy them already made if you don't want to do the work yourself. http://store.advancedmart.com/5mmledlibuwi.html

Sorry about that jon,I think there was a miss understanding I used the switch off of my rear wiper and I would like to use it when the car is off..But I think the only way to do it is to go into the fuse box and make the wipers hot all the time,so I can use the switch when the car is off. I just wanted to try it a diffrent way if there was an easier one but I guess not... Thanks for the info though it is good

thats no problem i dont really use the rear wiper as well an was thinkin about making it into a water gun lol like many have already. but i used a seperate switch for my lights on the inside. so my car doesnt have to be on an it doesnt drain the battery. but i think if u put the rear wiper switch to be on all the time it might do just that? if im not mistaken. good luck an tell us if u did it or not.
