Anybody use this long and narrow shelf-type-thing for anything in particular?

I've been brainstorming some ideas of what to put there and I really haven't come up with anything compelling.

 

the one thats built in below the glove box or the bottom one in the center of the dash?

i've mounted a gauge in the bottom of the center of the dash...

and the one under the glove box i don't use

I currently have a 3-outlet 12v "powerstrip" in the center one.

 

I just use it for my glasses case.

 

I want to put a clock there if I can a small enough one. (Why doesn't the clock work unless the car is on?)

 

yeah i use it for my sunglasses and tanning lotion, they side perfectly in there. i also love the scion cell phone/ipod holder squishy thing. i put it in my back cup holder and keep my phone there

But yeah, I'm begining to get that feeling. It also seems that anything you DO have there will just fall-out if you open the glove-box...

Yep, same for me, cuz the way I corner would scare some people in or around my car. (I gotta do something to pass the time on my way to work)

 

lol My homie always says that he's gonna push a hole in my floor while I'm driving.

 

Nice, it's weird tho. Cuz with the way I drive, my friends think I race, too. I just like to drive fast, not race. maybe once in a while with friends just to see who's faster/better.
But i'm draggin this off topic, so i'm just gonna shut up now.

If you got rattles, check out these pads.

 

I filled mine with water and put one of those fighting fish in there... Oh, and a plant too.

 

I normally drive like a granny Unless people ____ me off. Like this morning... too many clueless-never-worked-a-day-in-their-life-bimbo-BMW-drivers in OC.

As for the cubby under the glove box, do those pads mentioned above come with one for that? I could not find it in the description... Only then would it be useful and even then only big enough for a pen or some such...

Now the one under the cig lighter/tray is an interesting one... I was thinking of putting a switchboard for lights/etc, but come to think of it I have no use for a cig tray either... I wonder if I could mod that whole bottom half somehow?
